Geoffrey Acott, national treasurer of the Craft Guild of Chefs, has been named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

Farmers are getting behind a nationwide banner campaign to build public trust in the Red Tractor. Hundreds of farmers representing the pig, poultry, dairy and beef and lamb sectors, are expected to display the 15ft by 4ft banners in their fields throughout the summer.

This year’s British Sausage Week will take place from 4th-10th November, it has been confirmed.

Professional chefs working in education, fine dining and staff restaurants were working alongside student chefs for a special competition run by Initial Catering.
